If you find yourself in the Westwood area of Los Angeles - I have a place you MUST go to for a perfect dessert. Diddy Riese is a classic place for an ice cream sandwich. You choose the cookie (or brownie!) and the ice cream and they will make your sandwich for you right there. Freshly baked cookies and a huge variety of ice cream flavors. As if that isn't great as it is an ice cream sandwich costs $2! That's right, in one of the most expensive cities in the country you can get a dessert for two whole dollars. Such a deal.

You can also purchase their cookies (only 50 cents) or brownies on their own. I would be lying if I said I had not purchased a half dozen to take home for myself for later.
