Here is a quick and easy tip for your Saturday afternoon! If you struggle with keeping your brown sugar soft and dread when it is an ingredient in a recipe because it means you need to scrape at it for a long time then I have a solution for you! One thing: marshmallows.

All you need to do is toss some marshmallows into your brown sugar container and they will keep your brown sugar soft. If the marshmallows get hard then replace them with new ones and they will continue to work.

Easy as that!
