All of us at one point in life have struggled with setting the table. Whether it be when you were a young child learning to do it for the first time or when you are having your significant other over for dinner and you are stressed over all of the little details...we have all been there. Over the summer I learned a great trick to help you to remember how to set the table. The acronym is F.O.R.K.S or really FOrKS.

When you spell out the word "forks" it shows you the order of where your cutlery and plate should go. Pretty easy, right?

Another easy to remember trick is if you shape your hands into a "b" and "d" with your left hand making the "b" and your right hand making the "d" that will remind you that your bread plate is to the left of you and your drink is to your right. This is especially helpful when you are at a catered meal and there are a lot of plate and drinks all around you.

These two tips have helped me countless times during business meals and when I have had friends over for dinner. Hope they help!
